Hi everyone it's been a busy weekend for me,up until 1.30 am Sunday morning knitting poppies for Remembrance day parades.

My nephew was flag carrier for the Beavers as it was his last year with them,my sister had seen a knitted one first and had called me late Friday to ask me if I had a pattern and if so to do them for them.

My daughter was colour guard with her friend for for Girls Venture Corp Air Cadets,I did not want the flag carrier to look odd so made one for her as well!! so I ended up making five they were all well received and happy faces all round well worth staying up late for!!

I have taken a photo I have to find the cable to link my phone to the computer!! I will put the picture on ASAP!!

hi everyone
it's wet and miserable here,lots of projects on the go,i keep starting new ones before i finish anything!! lots of crochet and some knitting.the knitting projects are for my 8 year old nephew he's asked me to make some Alan Dart  Halloween hamsters from simply knitting magazine last year, most have been knitted they need stuffing and sewing up,and then some leg warmers for him for a ballet competition near the end of October so i best get knitting again soon!!
the crochet is various squares in different colours to make bags,i found some handles i liked in a charity shop all ready attached to2 bags i liked so i've left the fabric in place and have made a cover to go over one instead!all i need to do to that now is sew the ends in and put it together,i hope to take photo's first so i can post them on here to show everyone,i think that's about all for now off for a late lunch now bye!!

hi im Kerena i love knitting and crochet very much,nice small pieces i can make easily and quickly i have a short attention span!!! I have so many works in progress i will probably get smothered in wool soon!! must start sorting it out as i have a few Halloween things to finish that my nephew saw in his nana's knitting mag that he has ordered as nana's not knitting as much now! then i have a pile of patterns i've seen for Christmas i want to yarn bomb my tree but i don't think i will have much for it yet this year then, there's loads of crochet bits on the go too!!!
i hope to post photo's here soon that's my friends job i'm not technical enough for that yet this blog is an accomplishment so far for me!!
